This folder contains the AppleScript Language Guide - Japanese Dialect as a suite of AppleLink image files. This guide is a preliminary draft and the contents will be slightly changed in the final bound book which will be issued later. The entire document is divided into15 image files of manageable size listed below;

  22. Note that the AppleLink does not provide convenient tools for browsing image documents on line, such as search, bookmark or cross reference. Therefore, the most effective way to use this guide is to print these image files out on papers.

  27. In order to open or print these image documents, following system configuration is necessary.

  29.       KanjiTalk7 (or Japanese Language Kit with System 7.1)

  31.       PostScript printer                                         to print them out on papers

  36. AppleScript Language Guide - Japanese Dialect is prepared using TrueType fonts listed below. For high quality display and printing,  you need to install these fonts onto your system.

  48. Additional Notes on Printing Graphic Data
  49. -------------------------------------
  50. Printing graphic data in the image file requires a lot of memory. Please allocate enough memory partition (1MB at least) for the Applelink application. If the allocation is not enough, graphic images may not be printed.

  52. Some of the graphic images are prepared as 288dpi bitmap. These images cannot be diplayed properly on the screen. However, these images can be seen these images in a reasonable quality once printed on papers.
